Washed OutStanding, bearing a soul that was never hers. She clutched her breast, and tore from her the beating organ. The crimson tide filled the room.Washed Out
Drowning, drowning was she. Bloody waves crashed and mixed with the turbulent sea. Her body, slain, drifted to shore. Lifeless limbs broken, skin pale and torn. Eyes wide with blackened expression. Mouth sewn shut, never to release her confession. And there she layed, rigormortis setting in. The words formed and written upon her body were her sins. Then manifested was the spirit with fleeting words. She screamed and the words fell

In hesitant whispers, plead to you I must: Return those busrts of vibrant assurance to my skys and crush the chains of those cryptic lullabies. But keep the photos of moss covered stones and hold dear to you the short conversations over phones. Chemist, listen and listen well. I was there the night when you bleached the sunset as it fell. And I saw you. I saw everything. I saw you extracting each line of light from the sky's written word. And I heard the sighs of the earth as its core drained away.
